Frequently Asked Questions

  • What’s next if my pet passes away at home?

If your pet passes away at home, you may schedule a transfer through our services. We then come to your home and bring your pet to our facility. You also have the option of bringing your pet directly to our facility during our hours of operation. Some individuals choose to place their pets in a carrier or a box for easier transport. If you are wanting time to go over your options, we recommend keeping your pet cool in an area such as a freezer. Please contact us at (780) 756-7387 with any further inquiries.

  • Do you provide euthanasia services?

Will we do not have a veterinarian on staff, we are partnered with several mobile clinics who may preform at home euthanasias for your family. Alternatively, you have the option of putting your pet down at our facility in the meadow located on our property or indoors in our comfort room.  Pricing and contact information can be found under our services page.

  • Is there a way I can view my pet before they are cremated?

Yes, you may request an opportunity to view your pet. If you are personally delivering your pet to us or if we have picked up your pet from a vet clinic, you have the possibility of coming to our facility to spend some final moments alone with your pet. Family members and friends may also attend. Our viewing room is designed for the purpose of being able to share this time in a comforting and private setting. There is no fee for this service.

  • What is the difference between private and communal cremations?

During a private cremation, your pet is placed into the crematorium chamber alone and their ashes are returned to you. During a communal cremation, your pet is cremated alongside other pets, and their cremains are scattered in our scattering meadow.

  • Can I visit where communally cremated remains are scattered?

Absolutely! The meadow where our communally cremated remains are scattered is located on our property and is available for families to visit at any time. There are several sitting areas to rest or eat at, and we offer bubbles and balloons to anyone wishing to create a small ceremony during their visit. Live pets may also be brought along to walk through the meadow with your family. Just give us a call ay (78) 756 - 7387 to book an appointmnet.

  • What is a witness cremation?

During a witness cremation, you and your family members have the opportunity of viewing the beginning stages of the cremation process. We firstly give you an opportunity to view your pet to say your final goodbyes, then proceed with the cremation whenever you are ready. Unless otherwise requested, the stage you will witness is your pet being gently placed into the cremation chamber. There is an $80 fee for this service.

  • Can blankets, toys or flowers be cremated with my pet?

Small blankets, toys, and flowers can be cremated alongside your pet. Please note blankets must be made of a thin fabric and final approval is provided upon arrival.

  • How soon can I expect my pet’s cremated remains to be returned to me?

We have a return time of 3 - 5 business days for cremated remains, with the exception of directly engraved products (up to 21 business days) and clay Peartree impressions (16-18 weeks). Scheduling a certain day to carry out the cremation is $80, and same day return of your pet’s cremated remains is a possibility for an additional $40.

  • Do you provide pet burial services?

We are proud to provide burial services. Our pet cemetery is located in a visitable meadow on our property. If desired, our licensed funeral director can carry out a small ceremony in your pets memory. We also have a variety of caskets and other memorial products available for purchase.

  • Will my pet insurance cover cremation or burial costs?
