Jaimie

Meet Jaimie Tuininga!

Jaimie grew up on an acreage in Spruce Grove and has always been surrounded by an array of animals ranging from hamsters to horses! Knowing from a young age that he wanted to pursue a career in the animal care industry, Jaimie attended the Animal Health Technology Program at the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology. One of the most interesting positions he has acquired experience from was his time as a quality control worker at a potato farm! He has also worked in the deli and in the kitchen at the Freson Bros in Stony Plain.

In March of 2021, Jaimie began working as a Paw Print Technician at Part of the Family Pet Memorial Centre. The opportunity to create keepsakes to provide pet owners with the means to memorialize their animal companions resonated with him. He understands how meaningful the bond we share with an animal is, so does his part to ensure every pet in his care is treated with the utmost respect. You may meet Jaimie during a home transfer, or it is possible you have already spoken with him on our social media pages!

Presently, Jaimie lives in Edmonton with his rabbits, a parrotlet, and a tarantula. When he’s not working, he enjoys playing ringette, horseback riding, camping with his family, and designing websites!
